Hon. Speaker, Sir, my question is related to the high prices of medicines which are badly affecting the poor people of the country. Sir, we are unable to buy items of daily necessities due to rise in prices. How can we pay 18 per cent GST on medical insurance? Sir, medical insurance started in India very late as compared to developed countries in the world like United States, UK, Australia etc.
