The Government has issued a Notification issued under Section 4(1) of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (hereinafter referred to as the Act). The Land Acquisition Officer fixed the market value of the lands at the rate of Rs. 2,63,000/- per acre in respect of the lands vide Award No. 3 of 2008 dated 20.02.2008. Dissatisfied with the compensation awarded in Award No. 3/2008 dated 20.02.2008, issued by the Land Acquisition Officer, several Land Owners submitted references under Section 18 of the Act.
