Description

On receipt of the complaint, the police proceeded with the formalities and finally arrested the accused person who was remanded to custody from time to time. The Chargesheet was also filed by the Investigating Officer on 29.05.2018 stating to the effect that a prima facie case under Sections 354 and 511 IPC was made out against the accused persons and a list of about 8 witnesses was submitted to prove the case of the prosecution. On being committed to the Court of the learned Sessions Judge the Court framed charges against the accused person under sections 376-1 and 506 IPC and proceeded with the trial where 7 prosecution witnesses were examined.
