Thank you, Speaker Sir. Biogas is one of the prominent methods of converting waste to energy. The Ministry was providing Central Financial Assistance for setting up of compressed biogas plants. However the Government has withdrawn subsidy on all kinds of biogas plants which will impact almost 50 million farmers looking for energy security and natural farming.
