Government of India has proved the Surat-Ahmednagar New Greenfield Expressway project in my parliamentary constituency of Ahmednagar. NHAI has taken up land acquisition activities in Ahmednagar District, however, affected land owners specifically and in Nagar Taluka have stopped demarcation work and demanded Service Road facility on both sides of project highway to facilitate cultivation of their agricultural land which is getting divided on both sides owners are demanding written assurance and approved Map from NHAI for construction of Service Road. NHAI has agreed for providing service road for 40% length of project and accordingly decision of NHAI has been communicated to District Collector, Ahmednagar on 25.03.2022.
