Recently the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Rishipal Singh v. State of U.P. and another, has held as under: This Court in plethora of judgments has laid down the guidelines with regard to exercise of jurisdiction by the Courts under section 482 Cr.P.C. In State of Haryana v. Bhajan Lal, this Court has listed the categories of cases when the power under section 482 Cr.P.C. can be exercised by the Court. These principles or the guidelines were reiterated by this Court in Central Bureau of Investigation v. Duncans Agro Industries Ltd. Rajesh Bajaj v. State NCT of Delhi and Zandu Pharmaceuticals Works Ltd. v. Mohd. Haque and another.
