It to be noted here that vide impugned judgment and order dated 26.09.2023 and 27.09.2023, learned court below has convicted the accused/appellants namely, under Section 51(1) of the Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972 and sentenced them to undergo rigorous imprisonment for 7 years Page 2 of 22 and to pay a fine of Rs. 50,000/- and in default of payment, to undergo further simple imprisonment for 6 months. The background fact leading to filing of this appeal is adumbrated hereinbelow.
